About Video - Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Dirt Track - Vado, NM
A brand new facility is being build to replace Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, NM and El Paso Speedway Park in El Paso, TX (EPSP closed in 2016). This new track will be located in Vado, NM just off I-10 at mile marker 155 and is scheduled to be open by the Summer of 2018. With tracks closing all over the country, it is almost unheard of for a new, from the ground up dirt racing facility to be built these days, but we are very fortunate to have owners, promoters and racers in the area that are very dedicated to the sport. This is expected to be a first-class facility.
