Let's get cooking! ⏱ Cooking time: 10 minutes 🍽 Servings: 3 🍵 Calories: 147 kCal ✅ Ingredients: Quick 5-Minute Corn Grits - 1 cup | 170 g Water - 2 cups | 500 ml Milk - 1 cup | 250 ml Cheddar cheese - 5 oz | 150 g Butter - 1/3 oz | 10 g Bacon - 3 oz | 100 g Shrimp - 10,5 oz | 300 g Butter - 1/3 oz | 10 g Scallions - 2/3 oz | 20 g Garlic - 2 cloves All-purpose flour - 1 tsp Dried paprika - 1 tsp Dried oregano - 2/3 tsp Cayenne pepper - to taste Ground black pepper - to taste Red chilli flakes - to taste Salt - to taste Water - 1 cup | 250 ml ✔︎ You will need: Carving board Skillet Saucepan 📙 Preparation: 1. Add quick-cooking corn grits into a saucepan, add 2 cups of water, 1 cup of milk, butter and bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. 2. Turn off the heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until it melts completely into the grits. 3. Heat a pan over medium heat, add bacon and cook over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Add shrimp and cook for 1 minute. Add paprika, oregano, black ground pepper, red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper to taste. Stir well, turn off the heat, and transfer the bacon and shrimp to a bowl. 4. Add butter, finely chopped green onions, minced garlic, and all-purpose flour. Cook for 2 minutes over medium heat. 5. Add the shrimp and bacon back to the pan, pour in water, and stir. Bring to a boil and cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens. ❗️ Advices: 1. You can use regular corn grits. Cook them in a 1:4 ratio with water and milk over low heat, stirring constantly for 15 minutes, and let them rest covered for an additional 10 minutes. 2.
