But technology and design have moved on and prices have come down and now water cooling is pretty much accessible for the masses.But most of us are tired of the small old designs being rehashed and relabelled to try and part us from our hard earned cash.Arctic have thrown out the rule book and designed a NEW type of CPU water cooler that is cost effective, easy to use and setup and best of all does it quietly.Also they have thrown in some extra headroom with the addition of a 40mm silent VRM cooler on the pump head to give those toasty VRM's a gentle cooling breeze and increase stability when pushing things to the max.Even if you are not going all out for insane levels of performance the VRM cooler will help keep things in check even if you have bought a more budget oriented motherboard.The new P series fans also make an appearance and support a wide range of RPM's from 200-1800 and also support zero RPM when the PWM signal is under 5%The whole package is brilliantly put together and comparing to my master liquid lite 240 the difference in construction and noise levels is night and day. And for not a lot more cost.I could go on about this cooler for a long time, but the truth is you really need to try it and see for yourself.It has been a long time coming Arctic, But I think it was definitely worth the wait.
