A mega afforestation campaign was organized in Cuddalore District with plantations over 2.5 lakh in a single day on the occasion of 152nd Gandhi Jayanthi on 02/10/2021 across Cuddalore District in Tamil Nadu.
All 683 Village Panchayats, 5 municipalities and 16 Town Panchayats were covered during this mega plantation.
1528 clusters under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Development Scheme (MGNREGS) were covered.
