The Game Max Solar Desktop PC case is both familiar and original at the same time. The usual items like RGB, tempered glass, PSU basement and lots of fan options are all present. But Game Max have put them together in a cost effective way and with a few stylish changes to the normal RGB implementation.
The RGB is the addressable kind, so rather than the colour cycle we are used to there are dramatic colour changes and every LED can be an individual colour giving that smooth colour transition or aggressive multi colour banding.
These colours can be sync-ed with additional fans (at an extra cost) to boost the overall look.
The case has two striking RGB strips one in the front with a unique pattern and at the bottom there is a downward firing LED strip to illuminate the surface below the PC. This is a stunning example of doing things slightly differently.
Other features are the multiple fan mounting options and possible water cooling madness with the option to fit a 360mm with a 240mm and 140mm or 120mm all at the same time!
Overall I'm impressed, all this is in a compact midi tower design and at a great price!

Built in ARGB Strip – The Solar is the definition of a new generation gaming case with a built in beautiful RGB strip on the front panel, you can control the LEDs using the LED button or through software with the 3pin ARGB connector that is included
4mm Tempered Glass Side Panel – The tempered glass side panel is solid and thick, allowing the user to show off their internal components.
Compatible Design – There are SSD holders on top of the PSU cover and the case can hide two 3.5″ HDDs under the PSU cover, providing more options when you choose to begin building.
Watercooling Ready – Plenty of space for watercooling enhances your cooling options with room for a 1 x 120/140mm/240mm/280mm/360mm radiator at the front, room for a 120/140/240/280mm at the top and room for a 120mm radiator along with space for mounting a reservoir.
Magnetic Dust Filter – A top magnetic dust filter included helps to prevent dust from getting into your build and helps improve the performance of your chassis.
I/O Ports – The USB and HD audio ports are located on the top of the front panel is built with gamers in mind, it is easy to connect to most media storage devices and when building it is easy to disconnect the wires to completely remove the front panel while building too.
