Kottathalachi Mount is a Christian pilgrim centre in the district of Kannur, #Kerala.Kottathalachi is known as the “Malayattoor of Malabar”. It is an amazing reflection of nature's divine bliss. On Good Friday of 1958, the holy cross was installed at “Kottathalachi Mala” by Fr. Mathew Mannuramparambil. Since then the first Sunday after Easter is being celebrated here by thousands of pilgrims every year. It is located at around 2,500 feet above sea level. At present there is road facility till the base of the hill from Thabore, a nearby prominent village.
വടക്കൻ കേരളത്തിലെ ഒരു ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ തീർത്ഥാടന കേന്ദ്രമാണ് കൊട്ടത്തലച്ചി മല, സമുദ്രനിരപ്പിൽ നിന്ന് 2500 അടി ഉയരത്തിലാണ് ഇത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. 1958 ലെ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച, വിശുദ്ധ കുരിശ് കൊട്ടത്തലച്ചി മലയിൽ സ്ഥാപിച്ചു മാത്യു മന്നുരമ്പറമ്പിൽ. അതിനുശേഷം ഈസ്റ്ററിനു ശേഷമുള്ള ആദ്യ ഞായറാഴ്ച എല്ലാ വർഷവും ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് തീർത്ഥാടകർ ഇവിടെ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു.
തബോറിൽ നിന്ന് കുന്നിന്റെ അടിത്തറ വരെ നിലവിൽ റോഡ് സൗകര്യമുണ്ട്.
"മലബാറിന്റെ മലയാറ്റൂർ" എന്നാണ് കൊട്ടത്തലച്ചി അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്.
