In order to meet the imminent challenges of terrorism and growing crime, it is a dire need to equip the Police service with latest and state of the art technologies. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police envisions to use Information Technology as a change agent and has launched a number of projects including automation of police stations, finger print records, driving licenses and e-ticketing. This would enable Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police to address the challenges of 21st century in a befitting manner. Another initiative of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police is the launch of its official website which will not only improve the working of Police by ensuring transparency but will also pave the way for better liaison with the citizens.
